Combining cool with comfort The BABYBJÖRN Baby Carrier Synergy represents maximum comfort in perfect harmony with light airiness. It is made from an advanced, breathable 3D mesh and has been enhanced with a comfortable lower back support that relieves pressure and creates stability. The baby carrier is easy to put on and take off without assistance and all adjustments are easily made from the front. As with all our baby carriers, it was developed in collaboration with medical experts to suit newborns optimally.

Materials Fabric consists of 60% cotton and 40% polyester.
The textiles closest to the child have been tested and approved in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1 for baby products. They are guaranteed harmless to children’s sensitive skin and will not trigger allergies.
This product is part of BabyBjörn’s organic line and complies with GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), internationally the most recognized standard for organic manufacturing. The GOTS label ensures that fabrics have been manufactured in compliance with certain environmental requirements. These requirements regulate the use of chemicals in the entire production process, including cultivation, harvesting, production, processing, manufacturing, packaging and labeling.

What material is my BABYBJORN Baby Synergy Carrier made of and what makes it Special?
The BABYBJÖRN Baby Carrier Synergy fabric is made from an airy 3D-mesh that efficiently carries away heat and moisture. The fabric, specially designed for BabyBjörn, consists of 60 % cotton and 40 % polyester and dries quickly after washing.
When can I start using the BABYBJORN Baby Synergy Carrier?
You can benefit from using BABYBJÖRN Baby Carriers starting from when your child is a newborn, as long as he/she weighs at least 3.5 kg/8 lbs.
How long can I carry my child in the baby carrier each time?
You can carry your child in the baby carrier for as long as he/she is content there. However, small children should not be motionless in the same position for long periods of time. That's why we recommend that you always pay close attention to your child’s needs and switch between the baby carrier and, for example, a baby sitter, stroller or crib.
What should I keep in mind when adjusting the BABYBJORN Baby Synergy Carrier?
1. Begin by adjusting the baby carrier to the child’s size (length and weight). Follow the size instructions on the inside of the baby carrier to find the correct position for the sliding buckle. 2. Fit the baby carrier’s adjustable straps (2 on each side) to your body size 3. The baby carrier’s back cross should be in line with the bottom of you shoulder blades. 4. When your child is in the baby carrier, carry him/her high enough for you to easily kiss the child’s head.
How do I adjust my BABYBJORN Baby Synergy Carrier to fit my growing child?
All BABYBJÖRN Baby Carriers can be adjusted to the growing child. On the inside of the lower part of the baby carrier’s front piece, there are size instructions and an adjustable buckle. Set the buckle to your child’s height.
How do I adjust the head support on the BABYBJORN Synergy Baby Carrier?
The head support on BABYBJÖRN Baby Carriers should be used until the child’s neck muscles are strong enough to hold up his/her head. You adjust the head support by tightening or loosening the short bands on each side of the top of the baby carrier. Make sure there is enough room around your child’s head to allow the free passage of air.
How do I wash my BABYBJORN Synergy Baby Carrier?
The BABYBJÖRN Baby Carrier Active should be washed separately, warm (40°C). We recommend using a gentle, bleach-free detergent. Do not tumble dry.
Thanks to the light and airy mesh fabric that BABYBJÖRN Synergy Baby Carrier is made of, it dries quickly after washing.
Is it OK for my child to sleep in the baby carrier?
Yes! It’s fine for your child to sleep in a BABYBJÖRN Baby Carrier. In the baby carrier, your child gets the closeness and warmth he/she needs to fall asleep feeling safe. BABYBJÖRN Baby Carriers provide good support for the child’s back and neck, so you can carry your sleeping child for as long as he/she is satisfied. However, small children should not remain in the same position for extended periods. That’s why we recommend that you always pay close attention to your child’s needs and switch between the baby carrier and, for example, a baby sitter, stroller or crib.
Since the baby carrier’s front piece is completely detachable, you can easily put your sleeping child down without waking him or her.
When should I use the leg straps?
The leg straps should be used when your child weighs between 3,5 kg/7.7 lbs and 4.5 kg/9.9 lbs.
Is it safe for my child to suck and chew on the baby carrier?
Yes. All the fabrics in our baby carriers are tested and certified in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1 for baby products, the class that has the most rigorous requirements. The Oeko-Text label means that all the fabrics are free from health-hazardous substances and allergens.
A lot of children suck and drool on the baby carrier when they are carried facing forward. To avoid having to wash the baby carrier too often, it’s a good idea to use a BABYBJÖRN Bib for Baby Carrier. Naturally, this is also certified in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1.
When can I start carrying my child facing forward in the baby carrier?
After consulting the pediatricians we work with, we recommend that you carry your child facing you in the baby carrier until he/she is around 4 months – or until the child’s neck muscles are strong enough to hold up his/her head.
